Since 2022 I am using Anki to learn vocabulary. And think it is among the best ways to learn something by heart. The system is called spaced repetition. Means to wait for a long time until you repeat a word you are very familiar with and repeat those often, which are difficult to remember. Today I realized, that this is the system basically all advertisment is using. When something seems of little importance to a consumer, maby he considers the product or brand more important, when shown more often. Advertising is like an external learning process with participants that did not subscribe for it. #learning #anki
