Yeah, I remember there was a wave of hate spam across the mastodon bridge that all had like 100 tags so it would show up in lots of feeds. In amethyst I used word blocking to hide that sort of. Now the WoT in dark wisp handles it for me.
I still have media loading set to manual from the wave of nostr native gay porn reply spam. That helps too.
