big centralized services are leading in current internet for one reason: they have coherent integrated interface for content discovery. they also have weakness we should target: they only show content published on their platform.
rest of the internet is fragmentented. it lacks unified interfaces for content discovery. content discovery is the most important property of a successful interface.
web is all about interfaces. nobody knows or cares what is nostr. they know what is primal or damus. most of the people only learn interfaces. protocols only matter for nerds.
we can beat google by building better interfaces for the fragmented web - for the rest of the internet.
