afaik Arweave was never privacy focused. so just about everything that has a utility token fails, had my lesson learned with LBRY as well. we either build things on top of BTC or XMR or don't build it at all nym sells plans for btc and xmr but I tried it and went back to mullvad, it just works. even if the token is "not needed" it still makes it worse

I feel the same. I think we've all finally realized Nostr sucks and no one is coming, really. We built all this giant piece of something that turns out no one really understands or cares, not even most Nostr developers.
