Yeah, Scofield and his ilk really did a number on conservative denominations. At least they are Historic Premil, so they don't deny covenant theology or tolerate dispensationalism, but still an odd position for a Presbyterian denomination. And the fact that they are the only one has been part of the reason they haven't just joined up with the OPC. Many in the denomination want to keep at least one Presbyterian denomination out there that is confessionally Premil. A strange justification for maintaining separation, if you ask me.
And yeah, Luther could throw some back in his day!
