Most reiki folks I've ever met paid a lot of money to be certified and seem full of shit. No meditation practice, totally pretentious about how just hand waving could do anything.
I read through one of their official training manuals, and while some of it seemed in line with what I've learned about parapsychic phenomenon... Even the manual was open about it not being well controlled and more schools are opening up which charge more and teach less.
So I think that reiki can be real, but usually isn't. And I don't even think reality is real so that skepticism is rare for me 🤣
