I just started trying wisp before the update. And yes it is a nice app. But I think everyone which likes to be free, needs to respect the free decision of others. It has an authoritarian touch, when people demand others to work for their needs.
The code is free. So everyone can try to support a fork of wisp when someone is willing to support it. I am actually very happy for every developer, that devotes time for nostr applications. Be it for relays or for clients. In the end every free developer enlarges the opportunity of future developers. And as more opportunities there are as more probable it is to get great applications as a user as well.
