Since 2022 I am using Anki to learn vocabulary. And think it is among the best ways to learn something by heart. The system is called spaced repetition. Means to wait for a long time until you repeat a word you are very familiar with and repeat those often, which are difficult to remember. Today I realized, that this is the system basically all advertisment is using. When something seems of little importance to a consumer, maby he considers the product or brand more important, when shown more often. Advertising is like an external learning process with participants that did not subscribe for it. #learning #anki

I disagree, that freedom comes for free. Freedom is always coupled to work. But for sure depending the circumstances the price for freedom is lower than the price of the alternative...

But isn’t it then just the same as when a person asks you to pay a night in the hotel and promis to send you the money once they came back home? So you really always go with the risk, that nothing will be transacted, when the other person did not actually have the proper amount.
